The West Virginia Oncology Society (WVOS) is asking for
support to achieve our mission.  With your support, we will
strive to promote excellence in the care of patients afflicted
with cancer and hematological disorders.

We will ...

  • be active in the numerous health care issues facing
cancer care providers, including reimbursement, practice
     management, off-label indications for chemotherapy
pharmaceuticals and advocacy with managed care
     companies and policy makers.

  • offer educational seminars and meetings on various topics and trends in cancer care.

  • work closely with other national and state organizations to accomplish our objectives.

  • keep our members informed of the important changes occurring in Medicare with newsletters,
frequent reimbursement alerts and upcoming reimbursement meetings. Our website will be
available with important news and information and links to other informative sites.

  • work with other national organizations to analyze the impact of the changes on patient care and
keep members of Congress informed of those issues.
