Part B claims processed after 1/4/2010 may not have crossed over correctly to the Coordination of
Benefits Contractor (COBC). The system maintainer for CWF has scheduled a fix for this problem on
02/19/2010.
Unfortunately, CWF is not able to recover and submit to the COBC any claims that were missed for
crossover between 1/4/2010 and 2/19/2010. Therefore, if a provider identifies claims that they
believe should have been crossed over to a supplemental insurer but were not crossed over due
to this problem, the provider will need to submit the claim information to the patient's
insurers for supplemental payment. Medicare apologizes for any inconvenience.
